We are participating in the exhibition "TORII Black and White Exhibition" held at D&DEPARTMENT TOYAMA GALLERY as a form of collaboration. The "TerraCre" and "Tosteka" that we are introducing for the first time at this exhibition evolve terrazzo tiles, traditionally used as flooring, into vessels, furniture, and art pieces, showcasing new possibilities for terrazzo tiles. "Terrazzo tiles" have the texture and luster of natural stone, and they excel in wear resistance, impact resistance, and water resistance. We are pleased to present a proposal for pressed molded products made from terrazzo tiles. Pressed molded products are strong, have short lead times, and can reduce costs; however, their two-layer structure makes them "thick and heavy" and "unable to show the edges," which has limited their use to flooring materials. At Torii Cement, we have reduced the thickness of these pressed molded tiles to make them lighter, and by defining the edges, we have made them suitable for walls and counters as well. [Specifications that can be chosen according to application] ■ Priority Type for Appearance (Product Image 2) - Looks good because it is cut down a few centimeters before polishing - Recommended for areas that are easily visible, such as counters ■ Size Priority Type (Product Image 3) - Only a few millimeters are polished, so sizes of 300mm and 400mm can be maintained - Costs can be reduced since there is no cutting - Recommended for areas that are less visible, such as stairs For more details, please refer to the link below or feel free to contact us.
